Callum does it all the time too. In our old place he constantly stared out the window if it was overcast and glary outside. And now he stares at ceiling fans like they're telling him the meaning of life. Random baby.

Corban is obsessed with lights! They don't even have to be on. When ever we go somewhere new he will spend ages just staring up at the roof at the light fittings. He is also at the age of mucking around with BF'ing and lights are especially distracting for him! Glad to hear there are other babies that do it to - I was beginning to think there was something wrong with him!

Both my babies did this and I too worried so have replaced all bulbs at home with 40-60W ones so not too bright. Saves power too

Sam does this too!   He can't say L at all, so everywhere we go it's 'YIGHTS, YIGHTS, YIGHTS!' especially big ones like at Countdown.

MrsH - Corban was too cos I always had it going all morning, he would twist himself round like a contortionist to see it!!
I read somewhere that excessive TV watching in under twos is linked to ADHD due to it being overstimulating. Don't know whether I believe that but I'm not taking any chances! lol so the TV is now off. Although came home at the weekend from supermarket and Corban and Hubby are sitting on the couch watching some fishing show, Hubby is convinced "he likes it!" lol

lol Angel does the same thing...she could stare for ages at the light fixtures ...my sister would say 'If she saw the light today, she would totally walk into it' , lol, i think its a fascination lil bubs have, maybe something like seeing the faint light while still being in the tummy??....lol...and don't even get me started with the TV!! DH says the same thing too 'aww but we're watching the AB's!!' lol
