The girls are 17 months now and are finally getting some hair! The downside is it's very coarse at the back and getting tangled. They have my hair it's very straight and soft on top but really curly and quite coarse at the back.

I'm currently only using the eco store baby shampoo to wash their hair. Is there something else I could use? Can you get baby conditioner or is there and kind of baby leave in conditioner, something along those lines? Any suggestions would be much appreciated

We use the Johnsons 2 in 1 shampoo / Conditioner. I also use a wet brush every morning to brush Eimears hair.
This combination we found works best for her.

(I *have* to brush Aoifes hair every morning too and this morning I came across a wee tangle. )

Tom's is like that...gets so bad its almost dreads. Try a little conditioner with water in a spray bottle and spray that on as leave in conditioner.   Otheriwise a satin pillow case makes a huge difference to my hair.

We have that problem too. Ours is worse as DD has a small degree of rhythmic movement disorder (not a disorder really!) and rocks her head from side to side on her pillow when she transitions through sleep cycles in the night. Because of that she gets a big tangle at the back of her head and had a bald spot for a while too!

I find I have to brush the hair first and then once I've got most of the tangle out, I add a conditioning spray. I use a normal adult one as the kids one didn't work for us. I then finish off brushing after I've added the spray. I find if I add the spray before doing a good brush it doesn't work as well.

I would just use a normal conditioner like sunsilk and put a little bit in, it will help heaps.

I used a good leave in conditioner for Alia's hair. Makes it really easy to comb. An adults one not a child one.

Coconut oil is a great hair treatment, you could put a dab on and brush it through

For now I'm starting small I just got a johnsons baby 2 & 1 shampoo & conditioner and the johnsons no tangle spray for kids. I just tried out the no tangle spray and it smells nice and has tamed their hair a wee bit.
