Hi guys im newly pregnant and want to get onto midwife asap, im thinking along the lines of water birthing (or at least laboring if all goes to plan) in palmy hospital bath rooms and was wondering if anyone has/knows of a great midwife in this area that is comfortable with water they could recommend i go with....?

Many thanks in advance!!

dont know if she is comfortable with water although she is incredibly easy going. jo Henwood. She was a nurse at Aorangi and then became a midwife. my midwife for both boys and fabulous.

I can also highly recommend Jo Henwood. Didn't have a waterbirth but would have thought she would be cool about it. I'm pretty sure she will do a homebirth so would probably be happy with a waterbirth.

I would expect you have to go and see her as when I was pregnant with DS she only had one clinic day a week and was always fully booked.
