We are heading down to Christchurch/Hamner in May and I am starting to think about accommodation has anyone got any ideas? I am thinking we will probably avoid Christchurch as the main reason for the trip in Hamner. The 3 of us are going so we will have a little boy so a place that's kid friendly would be great.

Thanks heaps

I would def recommend finding a holiday house - that way you can have a backyard for playing etc. We stayed in one a year or so back - sorry can't remember which one,and we even took our dog - it was great.

I second Hanmer Holiday Homes, my mum lives in Hanmer and they tend to be the cheapest as far as I can tell. There are a few nice motels if you're wanting to spend a little more, but I can't think of any names sorry!!
Also, the pools are worth going to :P and Captain Mikes is the best fish and chip place :)
