hi was wondering if anyone could tell me what is safe to take for a clod while pregnant. normally i would just have the cold but have a huge week ahead of me and my energy is tottaly zapped

Nothing is safe while pregnant.

Lemon & honey drinks are your best option, along with panadol & rest

I must admit I thought this thread was about fixing your chimney.

Yeah, sorry, panadol is about the only over-the-counter thing you can take during pregnancy. Can you check with your midwife?

I usually have the lemsip with lemon and honey drinks (just make sure you get the ordinary ones that only have panadol as the active ingredient, without the decongestants that the max etc ones have).... that and attempting to rest, which isn't so easy this time around!!!

Lemon & active manuka honey drinks Lots of them!! The convita throat losenges are really lovely too.
