I was using my Unido sling successfully up until recently when DS has started wriggle and seems uncomfy and won't sleep anymore. I use the laying down way of holding him in it. He's 3 months and I think he was 64.5cm at the last measure a week or two ago - is he too big for this way now?

Are there other ways he'll comfortably sleep or are they more just for carrying?

I was meaning to go to the slingbabies meeting the other week but forgot on the day

I'm thinking maybe I should try a wrap, but is he likely to sleep in that position?

He only catnaps during the day, and seems to be getting used to it and relatively happy but I'm sure it would be nicer/better for him if once a day he'd have a longer sleep and I used to have more success with longer sleeps on me.

Hi! We have a Slingbabies coffee group style meet up this coming Friday - less formal/ structured than our bigger demos at the beginning of each month, so you are more than welcome to come along to that (same location).

A wrap would probably work just fine, but I'd recommend a woven one over a stretchy one at this stage with your bubba.

You could also look at an SSC like the Ergo / Beco / Manduca, or even a mei tai like the Kozy - my DD2 spent several weeks when she was smaller only sleeping on me in my Kozy during the day.

I know some carriers do seem relatively expensive but IME it is well worth the investment once you've found the right one!
