They're unisex. It's quite obvious from the sale they're not normal huggies. They're imports just like everything else 1-day sell

There was a thread on them here when they were on sale.

Yea, I figured from the pic they had that they weren't the standard ones. They were a good price, if you were aware they're not the 'real' thing.

I dont think you were ripped off.

The photo clearly showed they wernt normal huggies. And 1-day said they were made in Singapore.

You never know they might work well though

I bought them the other day for the second time.
They're not as good as the Huggies sold here, but I've tried several cheaper brands and these are as good, if not better than, say, Pams for example.

They don't hold the poo as well as Huggies or Treasures, but for the 2-3 hours he's in it, they're great
I wouldn't use them overnight, though.
Still, I'm happy with them, and will buy them again if they come up on special.

I have found them to be good for during the day and they will be good daycare ones.  We will use the normal huggies at night so I figure we have still saved a heap of money

my little blobby April 09 "gone but will never be forgotten xx"

I think people who bought them not knowing they were budget copies have a right to feel peeved.

Yes, you could see the design was different and that they were unisex, but 1-day should have made it clear that these were a lower quality option. It's reasonable to expect that people will see "Huggies" and expect them to be similar to what they get in shops. As for the comment about them being made in Singapore - that was hidden away in the questions and answers by buyers section.

I think 1-day were riding the coattails of Huggies reputation with this one, which I think is misleading.

Anyway. For those of you keen on a good deal, plunketshop.co.nz often has Huggies on a good discount. They're not on sale at the moment, but the times I have bought from them I got $15 off per box. Which made it 30c for the newborn nappies and about 40c for the toddler ones. And they're the real deal. :-)
