Anyone either got a brand of bubbles or a recipe for homemade (with NZ ingredients) that they like?
My little one is fanatical about bubbles and we bought her some cheap and apparently poor quality bubble solution thinking, bubbles are bubbles, right? Nope! I'd like to get at least one bubble per dip of the wand.
I had a stab at making some out of dish liquid, and while it's better than what we'd bought previously, it's still not great. All the home made recipes I can find online generally refer to US brands...

1 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp boiling water, 9 tbsp liquid detergent. Dissolve sugar in water then add detergent. Store for 3 days before using.
The recipe is on a bubble container that we got at the Kids Expo and I think it's the same solution that is in the bottle and we find it quite good. Always get bubbles off every dip .

Was just about to post something similar. I work in early childhood and out general rule is double the water to the dishwashing liquid. We just use the cheap homebrand or pams type stuff then add either glycerin (you can buy it at most chemists) or sugar
