Hmm, me to. You used to be able to, she must have closed it. Fair enough, I guess - I was interested, though, keep us updated Wriggles

Yes she got told off by the judge about it, but they couldnt do anything as it was outside the family court so she got off. If you want to keep reading then PM me your e-mail address and I will get my friend to add you to it :)
So far there was going to be a meeting this week to go over her 'breach' of the conditions when she had to travel to dunedin on other days than specified. The grandparents were forced to come up in the weekend by their lawyer to fullfil their side of the agreement, and have since withdrawn their paperwork about her breach. Next contact is them coming to get her girl and take her away for 4 days, however my friend doesnt think it will happen. Bubba #2 is due in a few weeks so I am travelling down to help out and give her lots of support.

Thank goodness they have withdrawn the complaint, some progress at least, even though its only something so little.
I can't imagine how stressful this must all be on her, especially given the fact she is due so so soon.
She is lucky to have a friend like you Wriggles, she will need all the support she can get at the moment.

I don't get why she has to travel to them...she is pg & has a toddler, surly any decent judge will say to the GP if they want access to the child they will have to do the travelling.
Also why does she not get a medical letter (from m/w or Dr) stating the stress this is causing her.
What grounds do the GP have for custody? Is there something that is going against her? I don't understand why this is a court case if the father is unfit & there is a record of it there has to be more if the GP think they can walk in & get the child.

She foolishly signed a parenting order. Basically if she breaks it then she gets in trouble where as if they break it they dont. I think its going to be looked at again after #2 is born, or in the new year.
The next contact is them coming up, and the one after that is her supposibly travelling to Dunedin to stay for a week which I doubt will happen as she will only be a few weeks post birth.
There is nothing going against her apart from her moving to Ashburton to get away from an abusive and sick husband. The father applied for to be moved back to dunedin and for the GP to look after the girl instead of him as he is unwell. Its all a bit of a joke really how sh*t the court system is. If she hadn't signed the parenting order then she wouldnt be in so much of a mess.
