With my first pregnacy i discussed names i liked with friends but found they where VERY vocal about my fav.s. One went as far as to comment that my daughters name was a "strippers" name and why would i name her that. So this time it'll be all hush hush, im not telling a soul.

OMG I loooove talking baby names lol. But I like to think that if I share my fav names with my family and friends it's kind of like claiming the name ;) When I was pregnant with the twins I had the names decided as soon as I found out their sex. I remember getting a couple of bad reactions to the name Esmé but it didn't bother me in the slightest. One woman actually told me she thought I was cruel to name my child that lol. I know what I like may not be for everyone but I couldn't care less what everyone else thinks ;)

I'm not pregnant yet but I'm always thinking about names and batting around ideas with my Mum.

with ds 1, 2 and 3 I had 2 names picked for a boy and came out with one name which stuck and i didnt keep it a secret at all. with ds4 I couldnt make up my mind with names i would decide on a name then change my mind he was going to be Elijah then Baydon then joshua, but when I finally did pick a name at 36wks I kept it to myself even in full on labour when mw asked dh if we had picked a name i managed to tell him to zip it lol, I held held my tongue long enough to let it slip so close to his birth lol.
