PS - I should have also mentioned -- if you choose not to immunise, please, please make sure your children are aware of this when they grow up before they go overseas, so that they can then decide whether or not to get the shots.
The chances of contracting these illnesses are much higher in other countries, and a lot of them can be really nasty if your children get them as adults, especially if they are pregnant at the time..
I too was dreading the 5 month imms as my girl got a very high temp after the 3 month ones (over 38) and waking all during the night with the pain cry and was just miserable. I was expecting the worst and when I went for the 5 month ones she barely even cried when the needles went in, and I didn't even have to put her on the boob afterwards. Then she was completely fine and happy as always. I since heard that the 5 month ones can be the easiest ones, but I know thats not guaranteed!.
