Heyya =) I'm new to cloth nappies! I have bought a couple different kinds. So far, have used the Gro Baby snap in nappy which i was actually quite impressed with. It lasted 3 hours of wees, plus a poo explosion with no leaks! And that was with just the 'absorber' and no the booster. Other than that, i bought a Baby First nappy but when i took it out of the box and had a play.. i realised it was just such an awkward design and i'm going to take it back >.< Also was very badly made with thread everywhere! Just today, i had a generic bamboo nappy arrive which i bought from Trademe. It looks well made and is easy to use but i haven't tried it on my daughter yet. (I'm also waiting for 2 Cherub Tree nappies!)
I'm likely going to end up buying more to test out before i buy a whole set but would love to hear which nappies you have found to be the best! (And worst!)
Cherub tree is a good pocket nappy, I have a couple. Pocket nappies are easy to use when you are out and about or if someone else is looking after your baby. But I prefer prefolds or fitted nappies with Bummies super brite or Bummis polarfleece wraps. Snazzipants and Totsbots bamboozles are good fitted brands.
Baby cheeks pocket is the worst nappy I have tried.
It's good to try a few different ones, all babies are different and some nappies work good for some but not for others.
At night time I use NapNaps night nappies with a small prefold for a booster and Bummis wisper pants. Hardly ever leakes and my 11 months old girl sleeps for 12-13 hours.
