Yep, I agree totally with Emma's post. I have one of those babies that is still waking several times a night and he's 6 months.

I do find however that if he sleeps well during the day, especially that last day sleep and feeds well then we have a better night.

 

I used to get so disheartened hearing all these stories of babies sleeping through the night from day dot, but realistically a lot of babies don't. Its not anything you're doing, and is completely normal to still be waking in the night for feeds

Yeah - although I tend to go on about my regular feeding during the day thing making good sleep at night I think my baby is the only one in my coffee group that is sleeping through. I probably should stop offering advice and just accept that I've been lucky.

I agree with Emma and Tara, my little man wakes 3-4 times sometimes more during the night for feeds.   Even if he feeds/sleeps well during the day he'll wake at night
Their little tummies need filling up regularly and its normal for babies to wake in the night.
