Hi

Glad you have been diagnosed and now know what you are dealing with! I have ME and unfortunately there aren't any medications out there specific to help with this. I also take paracetamol and ibruprofen. I also take amitrip at night to help with sleep (people find this odd that you are so tired yet you can't sleep!) and muscle pains. I take omeprazol to help with stomach issues too.

For me I find pacing good. Its hard when you have a new baby but I also find routine good. I will do anything the easy way as it all adds up, for example I find going to the supermarket very overwhelming so I do it online and have it delivered. I only go out or have people over every 3 days so 1 day activity then 2 days rest. I make all these little rules and I find it helps. My husband makes my lunch when he makes his so I don't have to worry about what I'm eating all my snaks etc are in the fridge so I can just grab them, important if you are breastfeeding! I also find having a bottle of water better than having to keep getting up to get a glass ... learning to accept the illness is one of the biggest hurdles too, but hopefully now you know what you are dealing with that will help!

Best of luck, remember us lot are strong so you'll be fine!
