Does anyone have a Milano capsule with base? If so, do you have the instruction manual? I have been lent one from a friend but the base is totally different to what I have used previously so I have no idea how to install it safely and she doesn't have the manual anymore. If anyone is a google expert, maybe they might be able to find a copy online (as I can't lol!!!) Otherwise is there any chance some lovely person could possibly scan and email me the page/s on installing the base?? TIA

I have the manual for the capsule itself but it has nothing about the base in it (and I dont know if we ever had a manual for that!). We have just installed the base in to our car a couple of days ago and it has a few stickers on it showing installation instructions (maybe theyve come off your one though?).

There is two ways to install it - one for cars with the isofix system and one for cars without.

Our is without and basically all you need to do it unlock the stand underneath and extend that down to the floor. Then thread the belt through the bit that says 'belt here' or similar - you need to buckle the seatbelt and thread both straps through underneath bit.

I hope that made sense, if not let me know and I can take a photo of ours all installed and email it to you. If you need the isofix instructions I can write those out for you when I get a chance

Hope that helps

Yeah I have this one too and it only came with a manual for the seat itself, nothing for the base. It is super easy to install, as listed above. Make sure you sit/kneel on the base so you can get all the slack out of the belt - it should be rock solid and not move at all.

What is the problem you are having with it? I had one back in the day and it can be tricky to install the base correctly. If you get stuck then take it to Baby on the Move or your local Plunket car seat scheme as they install them for free and make sure it is done correctly. Something like 80% of seats in NZ are NOT installed correctly (this is parents doing them themselves)
