I am getting married late November and our baby will be about 8 months old by then. I've lost the weight, but still have the loose skin/mummy tummy. Does anyone have any experience with control type underwear? I'm concerned I'll be uncomfy the whole time and I won't be able to eat/drink without discomfort if I wear something control-like. If this is the case I'd rather have a mummy bump! Does anyone have any advice?
i got a really good pair from undercoverwear - they are an ozzie party plan though.
otherwise what i did was wear control undies for the servvice and the pics then later put on my sexy underwear!
I used them when I got married cause I wanted a nice smooth line and I used nancy gantz and they were awesome, not uncomfy they were undies that went right up to under my boobs. I just needed a bit of help after going to the loo cause I basically had to take my dress off to do that!!!
I wear jockey control knickers most days, and have the long singlet top thing too which is awesome too. I got them both from Farmers. Wore skin colour pants under a summer dress at a freinds wedding this year when DS was only 8 weeks old and got comments all night on how great I looked for only just having had a baby! I didnt tell anyone my secret!
I had the ones that went down to your knees and up to your bra line and they made you feel fab and werent uncomfy at all! I think the trick is to buy your true size not smaller. I had nancy ganz ones too which were very expensive. I did see some nancy ganz ones at the bendon factory shop the other day that were cheap as chips so may be worth a look.
I've had them for years to wear under sheer type dresses. The key is to get a pair that isn't too tight or you'll end up with muffin tops where they start and finish and sometimes if they are too tight you'll get a sore stomach as well. I love them, think they are brilliant!
Oh, you can certainly still eat, drink, move etc. They're only uncomfy if you get them too small.
