Phil & Teds Me too chair

I also have one of these and so far so good (baby only 6 months). It's great cause it store away flat so great for taking to other places. It has a gap between the metal bar and the table and I was wondering if those with older kids have problems with the food going down there? Seems with other high chairs the place for food goes right up to the childs chest to avoid this problem.
