Hi I need help please. For the last couple of weeks my daugter has been waking during the night. She is in her own bed as she moves so much she was waking her self in the cot and we moved her to a bed over xmas break and that worked for a while until now.
Every night when she wakes she will come to my side of the bed crying some times screaming from her room till i get there. She will not go back to sleep unitl i'm there even tho she has her dummies she will still come to me. I have tried to take the dummies away but that made it worse. She is still to get her eye teeth but i'm not sure that she is teething as she will get a runny nose when she is teething.
I would like some advise please on what to do next.

She's coming for you for reassurance in the night. My three year old still does this on occasion. Easiest for all is to put her back to bed with a cuddle, or bring her into sleep with you when she comes to your bed.

Just keep putting her back to bed with a cuddle...

Yep I agree with the others- DS just turned 2, had never regularly slept all night without waking- he sleeps 11 1/2 hrs but cries out for me 2-3 times a night, I lie with him for few mins and hes straight back to sleep,....unless hes teething.
DD still often woke and needed reassurance in the night til she was 4 3/4 years.

My DD only stopped night waking very recently and she's just turned 4 and sleeps in our room lol... Night time can be a bit scary for kids so like the others have said I'd give her cuddle in her bed. Also if the dummy is her security removing it will make her worse imo...
mum to 3 lovely girls :D

I agree with all of the above, I have 3 kids, and they were all waking at night for reassurance at that age.

Last night was a better night. She only got us once and i gave her a cuddle and she went back to sleep faster than she ever has since this started. Thank you to you all for your advise.
