Hi,
I'd like to sign on to some antenatal classes but not sure which ones are best.
We live in the Howick area of Auckland and it seems the only ones available here are the Parent Centre ones. I would really like a natural water birth and want to find an antenatal group that is keen on all that, but not getting much luck finding anything that specific on the web. Anyone got any tips to finding one?
Im new in NZ so dont really know who else to ask!
Thanks
We did parent centre one. You have to book really early for them because they run out of spaces really quick (well at least they do down here). We had planned a waterbirth at a birthing unit and i did find that sometimes the classes went on a bit too much about drugs etc but it was all very informative. We ended up having our baby at 36wks so werent allowed a waterbirth but i still did it with not drugs. OUr antenatal class still meets once a week. They were very comprehensive classes and we both learnt so much.
Sorry that was a bit all over the place - hope you get what i mean
