Hi

I would love to know that im not the only one thats really disheartned that i dont get to watch my tummy grow from a flatish tummy into a baby bump due my past two csections

I have that hideous over hang down the bottom of my stomach that over hangs where my scar is and no matter how skinny ive been its always been there (as its stretched skin not muscles etc) even when i was down to 57kgs it was still there

but my moan is that i would love to just watch my tummy grow into a rounded bump but never actually get one and my tummy ends up looking weird and wonky with a saggy bit down the bottom, so i cant wear any fitting maternity clothes and cant wear under belly clothes cos it make the overhang look worse.............

Anyone out there that can relate?????

So badly want to get a tummy tuck one day and just wish the could whack the bottom bit off with my next csection!!!!

I can relate
I'm a small person and my boy was born 9lb so I was all baby bump. I have a few pics of when I was about due with him (I'll attach one) & it's great that I have them to look back on but I don't like the look of 'me'
I haven't had a csect but I still have overhang.

I'll never be the same again but it's a small price to pay for the kids I have

Me 39wks..

Congratulations on your pregnancy
Jess

*puts hand up* I had that awful flabby bit at the bottom too, and it never left...

I discovered around 26ish weeks that if I pull the skni at the top of the bump, it makes my bump get that rounded look cos all thats left 'hanging' is the real bump, and not bump + excess skin... I'll go find the pics to show you what I mean...

Left hand side is without my hand 'helping' lol, right hand is with the skin pulled up a bit.

and I have never been able to wear hipster style pants either that sit below the bump, have to get pants that go OVER the bump otherwise the tops dont cover it all, and I am left with this wobbly bit poking out the bottom... ick, ick, ICK!

thats an impressive bump 2xmummy !!!
after 2 kids i too hated my stomache....i cant stand the flacid wrinkly look of it..i taught areobics so had great abs but the loose skin on top just would not go..thank god it reduced itself to the lowest part of the stomache so it could be hidden by clothes ( tucked in..lol) and i could wear sports tops or classes..
now num 3 on the way ( and no longer teaching 'gulp') i am very, very interested in a tummy tuck after birth.....if only i had a spare few thousand dollars, i would do it in a heartbeat!!

I can totally relate, i was overweight when i fell pregnant and always had a wobbly bit at the bottom of my bump. I did something similar to babykatnz in belly shots lol.

now after a c section the hang is even worse, but i just remind myself when i start getting down thats how got my beautiful little man.

i try not to look to often though.

Oh thank goodness, i was getting worried for a bit that i might be the only one out there.   I like the fact that mine is mostly down the bottom so looking on bright sides i might not have a perfect bump but at least i can still wear bikini tops and shorts that cover that part

I will def try that trick of pulling the skin in belly shots.........

Thanks girls i know i should be just super grateful i get to have a baby belly at all!!!!

I have an over hang too after 2 sections. I can't remember if I had an overhang after the first one or not thought. I'm hoping it will go within time and doing lots of exercise.
My bump wasn't quite as rounded 2nd time until I had a definate bump.

yip im the same! i use to get a little disheartened looking at the "perfect" bubs growing and mine looked like....well ugly!!

i didnt have CS but i developed the overhang after my first boy and then stayed quite overweight so it just never went away!!

The thing that bugged me was the scan people (certain ones who are now being investigated so....) telling me my saggy tummy made scanning hard!!

il take all the bad comments and insecurities any day for my 3 babies

SECOND BABY 33 WEEKS

THIRD BABY 33 WEEKS

You can even see the tummy sag under my pants.

Baileyandastin your third bump looks kinda like my bump from my last pregnancy and what i gather my bump will look like this time

38 weeks second baby

Pomikiwi - I hope your overhang is lucky enough to disappear but dont be surprised if it doesnt. If its loose skin, theres not much you can do to get rid of it............surgery is the only way

I always said after my last i will get a tummy tuck and one day i hopefully will. I wish i had the money to get it done at the same time as my next csection...........man they should just do it and whack that extra bit off, they put it there from stretching the skin so much to get the babies out, its the right thing to do!!!!!!! I will win lotto one day and get it done, or just mortgage the house and get one (have to get a mortgage first)
