Topic: soft toy with light and sound Posted: 03 June 2012 at 8:46pm |
So, DS has one of the aquamarine fisher price seahorses that has a light in its tummy and plays music and it was a godsend. We've now silenced it, but he still takes it to bed every night and he's almost 3.
I'm looking for something similar for Little Miss who is due in two weeks. I don't really want to get her the matching pink one - but am after something similar with light and soothing music. Some of the other ones I've seen in farmers I find the music a bit loud and irritating.
Any suggestions would be welcomed!

One thing I have that was a gift that ended up being much better than I expected was a Cuddletunes Bear.
You can put any mp3 on it, even record stuff to put on it. It doesn't light up the same way the others do, though it does play for up to an hour.
If you're looking for something similar in terms of function (and to preserve sibling fairness ), we have the Playskool Glowworm which my DD likes (though that bear, soo glad we have it)

We did the same thing, we ended up buying a Leap frog dog (scout) I think because it did a double duty as an "education" toy. I liked the songs on it. it is annoying once they can push the buttons on it.

We have a Glowworm as well, it was much cheaper than the seahorse.

Hey everyone, Amaira, has a Leapfrog Chat & Count Mobilephone, which i recently got her from hushbabies, and she is been loving it, its A fun learning in a smart little phone, you can Sing along to songs about counting and phone routines, explore more than 15 phone activities and call on Scout for learning fun as you trade calls and voicemails with your puppy pal. It stimulates the baby learning skills like Early number sense,Social skills and pretended play. She is showing it to her friends these days, and with it she gets her own mobile phone which she supposedly thinks!! lol!! You can try hell lot of toys here-http://www.hushbabies.com/category/toys-playgear-music-sound.html
