Topic: Family still to claim child Posted: 08 November 2010 at 3:46pm |
Little Girl Lost
2 year old found outside McDonalds in Otara on Saturday still has not been claimed by her family.
How can you not claim your missing child?!?!?

That's so sad and makes me so angry.
As you say Squishysmum, How can someone in the family not know the little girl is missing !?!?!
Some people really do not deserve to have children!!!

I just read that! OMG! How could you lose your child like that, or just leave her behind? So sad for the poor wee thing

Can't believe it's been 2 days... Surely whoever she was last with would have noticed her missing?! Unless that says something about her home life... Iygwim.
Hope someone comes forward for her soon though.

I'm wondering if they are on a drug/drinking binge - and haven't sobered up enough to realise she is missing.
Such a sad situation, I had the amount of child abuse and neglect in NZ.

How can you not miss your baby/toddler? 2 days is a long time to not miss a child. If I were the police I wouldn't be very quick to release her to them either cause it does say a lot about the family life.

They've kept her for now, Kalimirella, and good on them. How on EARTH could you not notice a two-year-old's not there when you have tea / put the kids to bed / whatever, without being a complete dropkick?
There were eight kids in our family, and we did forget my five-year-old sister once. We all piled into the van, and everyone thought she was sitting by someone else... and we nearly got to town (maybe 20mins?) before we noticed she wasn't there! (She was fine... but we felt so bad!) But I can't possibly see how you could do so much worse than that and still be even semi-worthy of having kids.
