TradeMe all the way here....lol. I bought quite a few things for under $10 a piece. Also PP and JK otlet stores if you want to invest more than that lol.
Also, I did go to a Glassons outlet store and scored 2 size 18 t-shirts that have stretched with me and STILL fit...and they wre a totl of about $12 lol.
PS: I have a couple of now too-small maternity tops for sale on TM ;)

I use to own a 2nd hand matenrity wear shop and found that old season PP and JK stuff is so much cooler than the stuff now so maybe try a 2nd hand mat shop (if there are any in your area).
I also love GAP, NEXT and Motherhood stuff but it is all UK and USA labels but search for them on TM as they are often different to what we have.

Oh yeah, SpecialK reminded me, Witchery sale rack is awesome at the mo. I got a really funky top in size large for $25 in a gorgeous colour it used to be $60. I went on holiday and had a look at the Witchery sale rack in another town and found another beautiful top in size large for $35, that one used to be $120!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one struggling as I thought I was being a bit too picky LOL
I went to Savemart in New Lynn, that was my first stop as I've bought normal clothes from there before but the lady said the maternity stuff was just in the large size racks all over the place and quite frankly I don't have the patience to go through 100s of racks!!!

I was thinking about this on the way to work. You know Annah S? Well, Garb is their "larger" size label. You may be able to find some trendy stuff that might fit in that range?? |
Never heard of that label but I have heard of Witchery, not sure where their stores are though?!??!

I bought a bulk lot from Glassons too and plan to live in my leggings!
KILT (if you are in lower north island) do awesome normal pants called "karate" pants which have a fold-over elastic waistband.
I think they will be awesome maternity pants.
I too have bought some belly bands and am just basically in denial because I am too broke to buy much more.
Worst thing is having to buy new bras!

Especially when you'd just gone and got fitted less then a month before you got pregnant and spent a fair bit of money on nice ones that are now painful to wear. I'm actually disgusted at how ginormous my boobs are now

Ladies, ditto the raves about Mobea. I only discovered the brand a few weeks back but I AM LOVING IT!!!! Yes, pricey but it's that old adage of you get what you pay for and it'll be great for post preggie too.

I got some leggings from glassons and from Cotton on , then I got some dresses from Shanton to wear over top , or else I wear baggy shirts .
My jeans I got from the Maya range at the Warehouse, they were on sale $25 , im not gonna spend heaps of money at stores like Pumpkin Patch etc , for clothes I wont be wearing very long anyway .
The jeans look like normal jeans and they are sooo comfy
