sorry if it was on 1st page somewhere but was it one of the new tests drs are now using Innovacon?
I have used these tests a few times as they are free from the maternity unit it came with a note saying they are now the tests dr will be using once quickcards have been used up. I have gotten so many faint lines on these and have not been pregnant at all. and the faint line is a line that had it been on a 1st response i wouldnt have doubted for a second was a proper bfp.
everything else would give me a stright bfn but not these ones

Jeeesus, I'd have been dropping bricks if I thought I was utd, esp after getting tubes tied, glad you got a definite -ve and dont have to worry about the chance of ectopic etc. OB told me failure rate is realllly low, so it'd be a bloody miracle if you managed to concieve!

That's great to hear that the failure rate is low cos I've heard so many horror stories of people getting pregnant when they got there tubes tied I was serioulsy scared cos our family is deffinetly complete, I'm way too busy with the younger 2 to have anymore!!
