Hey girls,
I got my BFP on Sunday. wooo hooo.
The only trouble is DH keeps saying it is TWINS!
I did another test this morning and the line was way darker than the control line.... weird as.
Any others had this... I need to put my mind at ease.

Hi Angs
When I got pregnant I did my first test at just before 4 weeks and the test line was lighter than the control line.
Then when I did another test a week later at 5 weeks the test line was waay darker than the control line and came up first.
I'm only having one :)
So I think that's pretty normal and not necessarily an indicator of twins. Only way to know that is to get an early scan :)

Scans the only way to go hun :) Though in saying that at 6weeks my sister had 1 baby, at her 12week scan she had 2 ! - now we have 14mth old identical twins who are just fantastic - you'll be joining a rather special club hehe

Angs, I got a line just as dark as the control at 17DPO (so 4w3d) and theres most definitely only one in here, had pretty high hcg for dates too, so dont read too much into the numbers either, scans the only way to know

Hehe, mine was pretty dark at 10dpo (not as dark as the control line tho). It was just as dark as control about the day AF was due, and some people tease me that I'm having twins I'm sure it's only one tho haha, not having a scan till 20wks so will find out then!

LOL Rach I think you might know before 20 weeks if it were twins... your bump would be a bit bigger than "normal"
