Hey ladies,
Slightly off topic but everyone on this site is so knowledgable!!
I am relatively new to Hamilton and need to find a GP.
As I have polycystic ovaries, and currently are TTC after having a miscarriage last month, I really want someone who is good with this side of medicine.
Any suggestions would be great - flexible on location at this point!

I live in Hamilton, but as far as a doctor that I would recommend i'm just not sure. What suburb do you live in?

It's probably a bit far out for you, but I 100% recommend Dr Fairweather at the Hillcrest clinic. She's been my Dr since we moved here, and totally great with handling my infertility stuff and other health issues, and my specialist at the hospital had really good things to say about her too. I think she might be pretty full, because I know she's got a good repuation, but if you don't mind the location it's well worth a try.

Absolutely give her a try then. She's really lovely, she listens to everything you say and takes it on board, and on top of appearing very good at what she does, she is great at understanding your feelings and saying the right things to make you feel a bit better about it.
I don't know if she has any special interest in fertility issues or anything, but can say she's been great with mine. Obviously, she referred me on to Fertility Associates for a lot of my treatment, but I was still seeing her from time to time, and she seemed to have a very good handle on PCOS etc.

I may start seeing her myself Hopes, my GP is on maternity leave, but I never really felt "connected" to her. Is she the older one or the younger brunette?
Richard said he saw you the other day looking marveously pregnant- bet you can't wait for the day you start contractions. Your little boy will be in your arms before you know it! Has a date been set for an induction at all?

Hey, LA I think she must be the older one, since I wouldn't have called her a brunette.
Haha, yep, I sure do look pregnant! I'm really looking forward to meeting Bubs. They've booked me for an induction next Friday, which gives him plenty of time to arrive before then.

Yeah I went and stalked your due thread to get the latest lol.
Also, she's not old, just not as young as the brunette one. She's blonde then? More the age of our mum (mine is 52yrs)?
