Topic: Cycle after baby Posted: 29 May 2010 at 1:02am |
Hmm, I am a bit confused and also a bit nervous lol...
Had my first period about two weeks after I noticed what looked like EWCM, I saw that and thought ah stinko looks like period is coming and low and behold it did, just like clockwork the same as before bubs...same sort of cycle length.
Then I had another period about three weeks after that period which seemed kinda early.
Now I am having what looks like EWCM and it is waaaay after when I would have expected to ovulate (26 day cycle before baby) and I think today is day 20 (normally ov day 14). I didn't notice any EWCM earlier so have my cycles changed?
Also kinda worried that there was lots of discharge, had cramps the other day and been super grumpy these last few days which are also the signs i had when preggers first time round...and we bd on the day before ovulation coz i thought we were safe as for SOME reason I thought that I normally ovualted on day 10 whoops....but on checking ff it appears I was making that up.

Good luck for which ever way you want it to work out Tali!!
I too have had AF a couple of times since having bubs but nothing since Feb....eeek!
I think it can take a while for things to sort themselves out

It can take a while for some women to get back into their regular cycle and I had soooo much EWCM all through my cycle with no rhyme or reason to it, drove me mad!!!!
At this stage of the game using EWCM to avoid pg is really unreliable!
I would wait a week or so and then test if still no AF

Feeling naseous too...I just can't imagine am up the duff coz it took 18 months to get DS! Not that we would mind, for that exact reason, don't want to have to wait that long again.
Don't want to test Bex coz everyone knows EVERYONE in this town and so don't want gossip to get around lol.
Thing is that it has been to long since having periods and ovulation that I have kind of forgotten what it is like haha!
