I'm a newbie! From today I am 'allowed' to buy pregnancy books, I already know alot as I have always been very interested in pregnancy and looked to become a midwife at one time. I am 31yrs old and this will be our first. We are looking to TTC starting November so this will give me a good 6 months to try to lose some weight. I am pretty fit (did a half marathon last november) but have quite a few kg i would like to shift as I want to give our baby the best possible start in life and hopefully this will also make the pregnancy easier for me. Getting very excited, I will be one of my last friends to have a baby so have had alot of practice and am looking foward to having our very own

Hi ya

I am too a newbie on here. I have been off the pill since Dec but not actively trying however now we are.. I am 32   and this is our first. I too have got a few kj to lose and trying to get back into a fitness plan after being slack for way to long.

im a newbie on here as well. Im 23yrs old and have a 10month old son. AF has just returned 2 days ago as i still breastfeed. we are hoping to start ttc in october so i can have a 2yr age gap but the whole process is quite new to me, lil mr was a surprise. I am hoping to lose some kgs first as well.

I am 27 years old and have been married for almost 2 months. I have just stopped the pill and DH and I will be TTC which I am very excited about. I am intersted in chatting to more people that are in the same situation.
