I've got an IUD (DD is nearly 2.5) and my period is late (I'm not exactly sure how late as I've never bothered to keep track of it, obviously not TTC)
Apart from AF being late, my boobs are really sore, I'm a bit crampy in normal period type places but also hips feel a bit sore, have had a few little patches of nausea and am a little tired. TMI but have has a reasonable amount of thick CM too.
Did a First Response dip stick test this morning which was a BFN but I just feel like something is up.
Can anyone remember what their symptoms were like right at the start of their second pregnancy, OR have you gotten pregnant while you have the copper IUD? Any advice or thoughts on what you think might be going on would be really appreciated!!

hi Rachel, sorry no experience with a 2nd pregnancy or IUD, but your symptoms are pretty bang on...any chance that the dip stick test was faulty, or that you may have tested a bit soon?

Hi rachel, I agree with vinyard, could be pregnant.
Just wanted to say that while I was on copper IUD i had a few AF's that went AWOL then would have next one wen expected. Was told this can be normal with IUD so possibly that's all it is? would test in a few weeks just to check but possible that your next AF will arrive on time

my first signs of being pg with all of them were tiredness & nausea/vomiting..all your symptoms sounds like either pg or ov'ing or AF is on the way.
Do you have some idea of how long ago you had AF? is it regular?

Quite headachy this morning. Did another HPT and I swear I can see something faint on there but DH not so sure. Will test again tomorrow!

You should look at getting bloods done if you think you are pg.
Are your periods regular with the IUD, was you last one shorter or out of wack a bit?
Do you have any symptoms that are more pg like vomiting, extreme tiredness, body changes?
