TTC dates

ok so I came off the pill on 1 Feb, and got my period on 5 Feb (day 1), thought I would be ovulating a week later which was around the 12th, however yesterday (23 Feb, day 18) I had what i think was ovulation pain (used to get it when not on the pill) and my cervix was high and soft, so does that mean i ovulated late, or can i expect my cycle to be longer? more like 35 days?

i've been on the pill for 5 years so can't remember what my cycle was like before. I guess if I seem to be ovulating thats a good start right?

Hi MrsMc, I'm in a similar situation. I stopped the pill at the end of Jan after 13 years on it. Got my withdrawal bleed 4 days later (counted as day 1), then I'm fairly sure I ovulated on CD 16 judging by cramps and CM, and got my period today, CD 24. I never remember ever having such a short cycle.

My body has been all kinds of crazy since stopping the pill, lots of headaches, tired, cramps, weirdness. I think it does take a bit of time for the body to sort itself out. But everyone is different.
