Topic: Tots Bots? Feedback please! Posted: 24 June 2008 at 2:07am |
Hey... has anyone out there tried Tots Bots Bamboozles? I'd love to know what you think of them. I'm looking for a onesize nappy, that is a little funky & fast drying. These seem to fit those criteria. Also, they are available in Europe & NZ which helps me a lot as I am in Denmark.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried the onesize, but I do have a size 2. It's good for overnight when boosted, but I don't use it by first choice in the daytime. They definately do not dry fast as they are bamboo, sorry.

Alia - I think that size 2 is considered one-size as it can be nippa'd down on a newborn?
I haven't tried bamboozles but I have one in my secret newborn stash - I have to say that if I were to chose just one style/brand of nappy on looks alone I don't think this would be it. I think it would be quite bulky on a newborn and I'm not sure how absorbent it would be on an older toddler - and the drying time is supposed to be long. But, in saying all that they seem to be a really popular nappy so they must be good! You could try a UK cloth nappy board as I'm sure you'd find heaps more users over there and maybe even some in Europe! - www.babycentre.co.uk - take a look at their cloth nappy forum board, it's very friendly!

I don't have any, but I know someone who has a few of them. She likes them ok but I never see her girl in them during the day so I don't think they are her first choice of nappy.
They are slow drying being bamboo. I think there are so many other nappies/brands that are one size and better looking, faster drying etc.

Yep a size 2 can be used as a OSFA and it is my fave nappy. We use it at night time boosted with a hemp insert.
But they aren't quick drying. Ours takes over a day on the drying rack over the dehumidifier or outside on the line.
I would recommend them though. We're going to get a couple more and then we'll be out of 'sposies and back to 100% cloth (and hopefully 100% no leaks again)

I use bamboozles for nights and find them to be one of the best :) As for the drying time, I have another brand of bamboo which is thinner but they take the same amount of time to dry as each other and as the fitted I use as well :)
