cuppatea - when aimeejoy is on (or pm her) she uses baking soda as shampoo and swears by it. I use herb farm skin care and find it fab - organic and lovely!

I hate to admit that we are not using cloth, but I try really hard to do lots of other things to try to make me feel less guilt over this. We only use ecostore cleaning products and washing powder (or Next Generation). I recycle anything that I can, and I re-use anything that I can too (like plastic bottles, wrapping paper, use cards to make tags, organise clothes swaps with family members, donate anything that we dont want to charity). We use cloths instead of wipes. DH drives a very small car, and can go about 3-4 weeks on one tank of gas. I know I should be doing a lot more, and maybe once Oli is a bit bigger then I might try to go with cloth. I really want to give it a go - but DH is really poo-phobic and I just cant see him partaking in the nappy changes!
