Well, in theory he got his fishing licence (although he bought it himself... I got some Friends DVDs that I bought myself). We don't really do gifts for each other in a big way.

This year i have got him some wireless microphones for the playstation from the kids. I got him LA Noire on Playstation and the obligatory Xmas undies LOL! I also gave him a magazine that has some info on berries as we have an awesome raspberry patch this year. He really wants a new hammer as well but i dont know if he will be getting one, its seems a funny thing to give as a present, even if he does want it.

We do presents that are more for 'us' for xmas (we have both our b'days on either side of xmas so do more personal presents for that) This year DH is getting a grow your own mushroom kit. I had originally purchased it for me but when I had a look at setting it up it sounded so complicated that I put it back in the box, wrapped it up and decided it would be a good thing for DH to set up lol!

LMAO Sem!!! Bizzy, he's a builder, I couldn't possibly even buy the right type of measuring tape let alone hammer. I think I might get him a locking mailbox as we've had mail & parcels go missing

We are a bit lame this year as on a tight budget - I have bought all the presents for both of us! For him I got him some underwear (desperately needed) and a snapfish calendar from the kids, and a book I know he really wants from me. I would love to get him something awesome (like an ipad, lol!) but budget just doesn't allow for it this year and we would rather spend money on the kids.

we don't do presents for each other, but get the kids to help pick out something to give to each of us. This year the kids are getting him a remote control helicopter- Dh is a big kid at heart and meationed he wanted something to play with, with the kids so hopefully he likes this.

I really didn't know what to get him this year so got him tickets to a show he wants to go to (motorcross type stuff) and a pair of work socks that he needs. DS picked him an aftershave / facewash pack from the warehouse, and DD is giving him roses chocolates.
Some years we do nothing / practically nothing for each other, but I know hes getting me something this year (kids told me) so thought I'd better get him something to unwrap! some years I've got him an expensive pressie and it hasn't been used, so i won't do that anymore!

We arent really doing presents this year as we got a flashy coffee machine (for him) and a flashy DSLR camera (for me) for our birthdays a few months back. Since they were way more than we normally spend, we decided to count them as xmas presents too.
The kids got him some choccies and a head massager thingy (which was quite a find - feels so nice and was only $3.99!). I suspect 'the kids' wont get me anything though
