I'd only be looking for someone maybe while I was recovering after c-sect, so just a couple of weeks. Things that are difficult to do with a stitched up belly- changing bed sheets, cleaning bath, toilet. Other things as they popped up. I know our kindy cleaner is 15 per hour.

we have a cleaning fairy and I love Tuesday. We pay her $45 for the clean and we have a three bedroom home. She does all the basics and then each week she will do something extra like clean under the couch cushions or the bed and she pulls out the draws and goes behind there. If there is washing in the machine she will hang that out. She is a blessing. She is a friend of a friend, the hardest part of a cleaner is Trust

she helps me to keep my life in order!! Wouldnt be without her

We have a 3 bedroom house (100 square metre) and our cleaners come every fortnight and it costs $66.
We went trough a professional company and are on to our second lot of cleaners now as the first one we had was not very good (not cleaning in corners/behind doors etc)

They do all the basics but are starting to slack of a little bit too at the moment. We get a little booklet to write comments in if we have any problems. I do have very high expectations of them, seeing I pay for them.
Here we go again, another baby on it's way!

I pay $25 for an hour a week - she comes and does the bathroom, the kitchen, vacuums and mops the floors, and will occassionally do the spare bathroom.

I love coming home as the house always looks great and it is amazing what a difference an hour can make

I have 2 cleaning fairies - MIL and DF's cousin come in on Tuesdays most weeks and take care of my washing, general tidy up - nothing over and beyond what I would do. They don't do it for $$ but I flick them $40-$50 whenever we can afford it and I bought them both a an ipod a few weeks back to say thanks. They are awesome :-) MIL also stays on on the Tuesday to look after the kids when i go to training as DF is never home in time.
