I thought ears were worst tbh... Lol but you forget after 5 mins what it's like...
I've had ears done twice, to seperate holes in each lower lobe, nose, tongue, belly button...

Really it wasnt that bad. The worst part was when my boss at the time came up to me and told me to take it out, after I had okayed it with her. She's a cow anyway.

FYI: If you go for a piercing and the person asks you if you want it numbed with cream first - PLEASE turn around and walk out of the place straight away! Numbing causes the skin to contract and can leave you with a nasty scar/reactions/infections while your body is trying to heal.
Piercings only hurt for the amount of time it takes for them to push the blade thru (I had a LOT of them). Inserting the jewellery shouldnt hurt as the area around the incision is in shock from the cut.
Getting my ears pierced hurt more than the 3 bars in my tongue ;)

OMG my tongue was.....I passed out He had put the needle through, and the bar was through, but he didn't manage to get the ball on before I fainted LOL I have always said I would rather get my entire body tattooed from head to toe (I already have 5, so know what they're like) then get it done again. My ears were done at a beauty salon place when I was 13, and my tongue and nose were done at a tattoo parlour...same place that did my first 4 tattoos.

I started to panic with the tongue when he got the clamp out to hold my tongue! But it wasn't as bad as I thought!
My mums reaction was sooooooo funny, my friend goes "We got our tongues pierced" My mum brakes on the motor way and goes "WHAT! OPEN YOUR MOUTH NICOLE!" Looks in and goes "OMG... You HAVE!" then drives... Stops again on the motor way and goes "It's not real is it...?" I go "No we're just kidding!" and she drives again then stops and goes "It is, isn't it?" and I go "Yes" and this went on until we got home... Luckily it was 10pm and no cars re her stopping!
I'm keen for a tattoo next...

TBH it doesn't hurt for all that long, mine was maybe 5 seconds to a minute, but I have a high pain threshold anyway...

I didn't find my nose hurt for very long. The cuff? on my ear hurt more because I kept sleeping on it. The tongue I found more overwhelming than painful, having pain in your head & having to keep your tongue poking out. I had a vch done at the same time as my tongue & the tongue hurt more at the time but healed much quicker. I have two little tattoos, didn't hurt much, want more but haven't found a good artist yet. Curious minik8e- did you get yours done by Steve at skin design?

I have my nose pierced, I've had it for years - since I was 16, so 9 years. It did hurt when it was done, but only for a minute, it wasn't too bad to be honest. I just buy the straight cheap nose studs and bend them in half at a right angle, then put that in my nose. I've had the same one for years now, it just always stays in there - put makeup on and clean around it. Though I have taken it out a few times for curious children lol, it doesn't hurt one bit
