When Andrew was born Dh took no days off, but his work meant that he was at home mostly during the day anyway.

When Josh came along he was at home for 2 weeks from the day I was induced.

He was also at home last year for 5 months on the sickness benefit which at the beginning was annoying (in my space) but towards the when when we found out he was going to be away all year this year it got a lot better. i know he would love to be a SAHD but now with his new job he can't.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Sadly cant have a SAHD here, but hopefully with the next child ill become a stay at home mum, DH wants to join police force but do the most highest paying occupation in the police, which will earn him enough for me to stay at home woot.

We are working on me being a SAHM for at least a year, and then she can go to work with her Dad until she is around 5 and I'll go back to work part time (he manages a kindy )

We'll see though....it depends how closely number 2 follows...
