I gained over 20kgs in first pregnancy and then stopped weighing myself. Lost most of it but still had 5 kgs left to go, a year later, and then fell pregnant again.
This time, I lost 6kgs in the first trimester (nasty ms) but obviously with a twin pregnancy have gained a lot back. (Hopefully only in my tummy area). Im too scared to weigh myself this time.

I've lost 2-3 kgs (from my pre-IVF weight) but I think that is because I've been eating really, really well (lots of fruit and veg and drinking loads of water) and I can't stomach junk, unless No. 9 is having a *very* good day ... today I was allowed to eat a peanut slab and I nearly rolled around on the carpet in joy afterwards like my dogs do when they've had something delicious (to them - manky bones aren't my idea of delicious!) I'm a bit surprised because I'm not being too active, even though I'm eating well.
I'm hoping to keep my weight gain to around 10 kgs, but time will tell! The road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that!!

LG i know that when you get pregnant your body metabolism slows down so that maybe it- and maybe youve actually put on less than you think- my weight gain was really fast in the first tri- but has slowed down alot to where when i last weighed myself i didnt gain any weight over 2weeks! coming from having gained 11kgs in 4wks!...............so ive jst learnt as long as im eating healthy, im not gona bother about the weight!

I'm way to scared to weigh myself. I feel like i've gained about 5kgs.
Is it true that you loose heaps when you start to feed?

I did with the gremlins, it literally fell off, but not with Maya. Pity I put it all back on again after I weaned them...

I only expressed for 3 weeks, but did lose weight. When I stopped b/f I gained 3kg back.
A friend told me the other day that a lot of people drop the weight after the 6month mark, it has been true for her and another mum in our AN group so a good reason to keep b/f till then if you can (if only... maybe then I would fit my clothes again!)

I've just been to the doc's and have put on 23kg (doctor says its only 17 but I think she forgot about the initial 6 I'd put on before my first antenatal appointment) still got 6 weeks to go so am well on my way to hitting the 100kg mark.

I just weighed myself - a little daunting but got a nice surprise - I have only put on 15kgs so far in this pregnancy! I had put on well over 20kgs in my last pregnancy so was expecting a lot more this time round with twins. I was wrong.

I lost 8 kgs in the first trimester and have put on 3.5kg since. Don't want to put on any more than another 7.5kg but you never know. I'm not going to worry about it too much - just trying to be healthy

Finally worked up the courage to weigh myself and I've only put on 2 kgs but my tummy is WAY bigger than before...very strange. I've already started hoping BF sucks all the weight off me!
