Hi,
Central city would be good as I work there, we are waiting to see if we can get into one place but there kept on moving the day they can tell us back - unfortunately I can't delay returning to work!

I've heard the same things about City Heights, they seem to have gotten quite a rep. It seems to be just a couple of staff and the others are ok but i wouldn't leave my child there. I'm starting to look for childcare so i'll look into little citizens

There is another thread here Daycare in Dunedin (hope the link works) which has some advice.
I have a chum who has her child at City Heights and thoroughly enjoys it.
I've got my name down at the Uni, but also thinking about other places too. I need to investigate further though!

Thanks, i'll look on that one as well. Its difficult to find places now because of being mid way through the year. I'm aiming for centres a bit further out now because all the reputable centres are full. I've heard too much negative feedback about City Heights and other centres have told me to stay away, all down to a couple of staff members by the sounds of things! I think the best plan is to get names down in advance and hope for the best

We aren't in Dunedin any more but when we were living there my kids went to Edukids Kaikorai Valley - it was awesome - highly recommend it to anyone.
My kids were 3&4 at the time so were in the preschool room, and my boy was in the toddlers room for a little bit - all awesome teachers and kids too.

City Heights have a new manager and some staff have moved on - I have found it a really positive place for my son, he absolutely loves attending and the staff have been friendly, approachable and supportive.
