    Posted: 05 May 2008 at 10:39am

Ok my Pelvic Floor Muscles must be completely shot. When I sneeze, pick ethan up, get up to fast etc I get a little leakage.

This is horrible and I never had any problems when pregnant with Ethan and I am good at remembering to do my "exercises".

Could it be that I need to up the amount I do or could it be something else???

You poor thing. Sounds very pelvic floor-y but I'm not a physio or MW! You might need to up the amount, and also do them several times a day. Are you doing a mix of quick contractions (e.g. 20 quickly in a row) and longer holds (e.g. hold for 15 seconds each)? Ask your LMC for a referral to a maternity physio (if you're near one!) and they can give you a more specific "training" program. I think sometimes people find it worse if they have a UTI - is this possible?

What about the pelvic floor toners you can get??

Here's some

I don't know the deal with them and pregnancy - may pay to check with midwife.

I think that it is a pregnancy thing - I'm hoping
Was going to post this as when I go pee I always have some drips after I wipe

My friend said that it happens with pregnancy and baby is often pressing on the bladder - so it should be okay after birth!

Pain on peeing; lower abdominal pain; blood in urine; mucous in urine; higher temperature; feel weird.

I know some people have UTIs with no symptoms, but when I get them (well, have only had one), boy do I know it! Your GP can do a urine test, but I'd be surprised if you have one with uot any symptoms - usually people who have them with no symptoms have chronic UTIs and are generally unwell.
