Hated it. Sorry. Not all are the same but for me it was horrible. For my next two I did everything possible to avoid one and thank goodness I haven't had one again.

It was so fast and rapid that it sent my body into shock and I started vomiting. Then at 9cm stalled for a few hours. In the end it was a ventrouse delivery and my daughter inhaled her meconium with a 5 day stay in neonatal intensive care. I don't know if I am warranted in saying this but I blame the induction for her stay in nicu. I know a lot of things could have contributed to it but I feel that the induction did this. It was horrible.

Sorry for any ladies about to be induced. As you can see from this thread there have been positive experiences. I have gone on to have two natural births and it is like comparing apples to pears. But it is a medical procedure and is sometimes necessary in certain medical eventualities. I wish I had tried more to avoid it but hindsight is great isn't it.
