Yip have that same thing but it is due to PCOS. Only thing I can say if if you are overweight is to lose about 5% bodyfat and it might kickstart it. (BTW have no idea if you are overweight at all but this usually works for me). If not then the only thing to do is go to the dr's and ask for hormonal bloodtests and see what your levels are and they can take it from there.

Good luck. I am dying to see if I am ovulating this months or not.

It is possible that you may have PCOS, that affects ovulation. Can you ask you dr for some day 3 and 21 bloods???

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I have anovulation due to PCOS. Provera, as far as I'm aware, doesn't bring on ovulation (you will need clomid for that), provera only starts your period so you shed the lining and then you can take clomid, with any luck from there you'll have the right sort of lining for the egg to implant after ovulation and fertilisation.

Are you temping/charting?

I had testing for PCOS before Astin was born and they were negative - Do you get pains with PCOS because i never have any pains??

Iv already taken Provera and it did the job with AF and i ovulated on time after that but then nothing after that.

Im temping but so far no rise...although i have to say that Astin took off with my thermometer so i bought another one and he stole that one! then i found it but noticed it had teeth marks in it (from me! lol) so it was my old one and it made this funny beeping when i first turned it on so maybe not quite so reliable! lol
Iv used ov pee sticks and got fade ins and what seemed pretty close to ov but then it faded out on the nexts tests!!???

I am a bigger person but i was much bigger before i had Astin and never had a prob with ovulation....

I honestly don't know if the pains I get are from PCOS or the endo sorry.

You said testing, what testing did they do?? As the only way I found out was from my gyne when he was doing my endo surgery and on a scan.

It was a blood test and scan if i can remember rightly...i actually cant remember exactly why i was tested for it but im assuming it was the lack of ovulation?? my memory is shocking now!!

with the test for PCOS did you get the bloodwork done as well as the scan? You need to get both done. Some peoples hormones look fine but cysts all over it as well as the other way around.

Some PCOS women never get any pains or any symptoms at all while others do get symptoms.

My guess is just relax. I know easier said than done.

I might just add that there is no way they can definitely diagnose anyone with PCOS unless you have a hysteroscopy and/or laporoscopy. Scans aren't fool-proof and bloods only test for the sydrome, not the cysts.

Still doesn't mean you have it, just saying that its not 100% cos I got misdiagnosed as not having the syndrome but having the cysts due to normal bloods etc, but then was diagnosed a few years later as having both.

Hi

I haven't ovulated naturally since Jan, I have ovulated once since while on clomid. AF just stopped and after tests they confirmed I wasn't ovulating and .... after scans and bloods the Dr said it wasn't PCOS - its just unexplained, possibly stress
