As someone who has spent the last 14 months ttc, I totally hear you. It is all consuming!!!
Now that I have just got my bfp, I spend all the time wondering if its going to stick or not.
Its such a long journey.
Anyway, have been feeling fairly optimistic the last couple of days.

I'm not very patient either... somehow with 3 days before AF every single month I manage to convince myself that I'm pg

I'm totally the same, can't think of anything else. I spend way too long looking on the computer at baby related things and trying to come up with new things that might help us conceive better. Then the TWW I'm a shocker, every month I say I'm going to relax and not worry about it but every twitch, ache or cramp is a symptom!
Hopefully we'll all get those long awaited BFPs soon and then we'll be even more obsessed!

The whole TTC is part fun, part dire obsession lol
First your AF seems to take ages.
Then There's no point BD for a few days after that.
Then you worry you haven't BD enough or at the right times.
Then you wonder if FF got your ov date correct cos your BBT is a bit stuffed or you woke up a few times or the room is cold or you can't interpret your OPK properly.
Then after ov, you're too knackered to BD. And then worry that you should have given it 'one more go'.
Then the 2 WW take four times as long and you feel like you can't relax and have a drink in case it hurts your maybe-baby.
Then you start getting PSN and dizzy spells and minor nausea and convince yourself they're signs you *never* get before AF arrives.
Testing for your BFP starts at 10DPO. It's always a BFN but you tell yourself it's just too early.
Finally, AF arrives a day early. Or a day late. Or not at all! Celebration! A BFP!!!
Then you start worrying about having a sticky bean. Every twinge and cramp is over analysed......
and so it goes on......
lol just my experience of course!

Hi guys, being fairly new to TTC I can agree with everything that's been said so far in this thread! TTC can totally consume ur life, some of it is good (like being able to chat with ppl from threads like this one) and sum aren't so good, like going thru the charting, waiting to ov, going thru the 2ww, then wondering whether ur strong enough to test or should u wait a little longer just in case AF is a day or so late? It's all an emotional rollercoaster at times, but I think that all the heartache, agony etc that we all put ourselves thru will be all 4gotten once we're holding our little bundles of joy whenever that may be! Hmmm... then we have to start all over again, when we try for the next baby lol I'm currently waiting to test as today is the day when AF is scheduled to arrive, but for once have had NO signs whatsoever which for me is unusual!! Have been tired more lately (which I've put down to worrying about TTC) but have had a bit of soreness in the breast area. Still, am a little apprenhensive about testing! Seeing the BFN show up when testing is very heartbreaking at times, especially when others tell u how easily they got pg or that they weren't even trying etc!! Goodluck to everyone TTC and those thinking about it!

this is a classic thread, I so relate! TTC brain - totally there! It's not ALL the time though, just this really regular every-day thing. Like it's become a routine! And this is only cycle 2 lol

LMAO, I'll share mine, anyone want a gremlin? Or a particularly feisty 5 year old? I'll hold onto the baby for now tho, she hasn't turned feral just yet...

Hi Ladies,
I'm new to the forum having just posted in Pre-TTC and after reading all your posts I can see i might have a touch of the TTC-Brain hehe
I keep looking at baby-related websites, baby names, all the cute little clothes and toys etc and being an interior designer I keep looking at our two spare rooms analysing which would be best for a nursery!
The worst thing is that we aren't TTC until Oct next year as we are getting married in Feb and honymooning in May-Jun...I have so long to go!!!
Was/Is anyone else experiencing TTC-brain so far ahead like me?
