I only got told recently that butter is better for fertility then margarine. I don't know if there is any truth in it, but I did find this article

After reading this it makes me want to switch to butter from margarine.

Makes sense oxy - margarine is pretty 'plastic' and artificial butter isn't. I didn't read the article that's just me thinking out loud. After hearing how close the plastic marg is I switched back to butter. At least I know what I'm getting. Have still managed to lose weight while doing so too.

pretty much anything "low fat"  is bad for fertility. you should be eating as many whole foods as you can and not the processed versions. margarine is full of preservatives and rubbish and is not in any way good for you (despite what they try to tell you on the tv!)  I switched from all those lite, low fat, processed foods to having full fat, natural versions of cheese, milk, butter, meat etc, and tried to eat less refined sugar (so bread, pasta, sweets etc) and i havent gained an ounce and have more energy and when eating this way properly i do notices changes in my cycles etc for the better. so in short, yes, butter on its own wont fix any fertility issues, but eating as little processed foods as you can can only be good for you!

We buy the spreadable butter... Mainland Butter Spread and just leave it in a cool part of the kitchen or in fridge if super hot in summer. It's pricey as ($6.99) I think but I tend not to worry about the price of things like that. And yep we're whole milk to. Should probably switch to raw sugar...might be my next plan.
