Hi all!
I'm trying to compile a list of the best parent facilities around NZ for a parenting website I help with - unfortunately my own experiences are limited to the Hamilton region, so if anyone has any they could recommend that would be WONDERFUL.

The main criteria are:
Accessible to both mums and dads
Comfort
Hygiene
Quality of the facilities (does their microwave work? Are their chairs torn or dirty?)
Any extras they offer, like bottle warmers, private cubicles, a toddler area...

Any help would be very much appreciated

The parenting room by Lynn Mall's food court is excellent; roomy, clean, good changing area, a microwave, a TV to keep kids entertained, and three feeding area options: a large couch in front of TV, a curtained-off armchair and a lockable private room.

I've only been to one so far, but at Westfield Albany, near JB-HiFi on the lower level, the parents room has 2 private cubicles (with curtains and very comfy seats), and fenced play area, 2 change areas and a microwave. The bathroom (normal + kids size loos) was a bit dirty when I was there.

at Botany Town Centre, Auckland, there is an amazing parents from off the food court. It has several curtained cubicles, 2 fenced in play areas, changing stations. A couch and a tv playing nick jr. Also microwave and bottle warmer. My only complaint is the chairs in the cubicles could be less stylish and more comfortable and better suited to feeding, but they are perfectly adequate. My 2 yo asks to go there to play whenever we go shopping!

The Plaza in Palmerston North has two really really good parent rooms with:

Mirowave or bottle heater-upper thingie
Two changing bays
A toilet with adult and toddler loos
Two private cubicles with curtains and comfy armchairs for feeding
Tv with movie going on loop for toddlers
small 'fenced in' play pen area to put little ones

ALWAYS clean and tidy. They are pretty new and fab

You push a button to open the door from outside and inside so no kids running away!

The Babycity store at Fraser Cove, Tauranga has two feeding chairs for Mums to use, I know this is very popular. Also, Bayfair, Mt Maunganui has a large, clean and well equipped feeding room.

The baby rooms in North city (Porirua mall - wellington region) are DISGUSTING! They have no mats for changing baby (they have the benches, but the mats are stolen/been taken away)and the toilets are pretty rank. The bottle warmer doesn't work and hasn't for quite some time. Not sure if microwave works or not. The chairs are ok. But like someone else said, could be comfier!

The feeding rooms at westfeild queensgate (lower Hutt) are really good. usually tidy, tv, seats, microwave and play area for kids. I like those ones!!
