Didn't quite know where to post this...but I was just wondering how many of you play sport? I play netball twice a week and I am sort of wondering if and when I should stop. How safe is it to play while pg... and no, Im not pg yet...just wondering

I play touch rugby. I found out over the Christmas break that I was preggers, and didn't go back to it after touch started again in January. With my son I played touch until I was 4 months with no worries. A friend of mine used to play netball and she stopped straight away, it was her drs recommendation.

Hehe, I clicked into this thread thinking more along the lines of finding time to get DH to BD when sport wasn't on TV

Oh well, back on topic... I would say unless your doc recommends otherwise it's up to personal preference - play until you feel uncomfortable doing it... a bit of exercise can only be good can't it?

If its ok with your doc, then go with your personal preference. People who are already exercising regularly its good to continue for your health and your babies.
