i went to open bathroom door today and then mat got caught and I banged breast and a little bit of my bump on the door..wasnt worried as it doesnt hurt etc and bubs moving fine...was eating breakfast about 30 mins later and felt sick and then top of bump kinda felt like a Braxton hicks..( not that im sure I've had one before but thats what it felt like) and i rubbed top of bump and it went away.. i sometimes just feel uncomfortable and sick and it takes a while to go away(normally) anyway it all lasted about ten mins ..feeling sore that is and the braxton thing about a minute..and after the rubbing it went away..

anyway my question is from experienced people(you guys) is that all normal? should i call midwife..?i feel fine now and hes kicking away..so maybe he was just changing position(she said that could be what has been making me feel sick) ? and its just coincidence about banging myself.. I'm a worrier by nature but i realise most bumps dont do any damage..maybe I'm just thinking too mucH?:)

Its probably coincidence that you had a braxton hicks just after bumping yourself and as bubs is moving the normal amount and you aren't in any pain at the moment (just when you had the BH) then I would say that you are both fine, but to be on the safe side I would ring the midwife as she will be able to tell you if there is anything you should be on the lookout for etc.
Braxton hicks normally feel like your tummy tightening and if you put your hand on the top of your bump when it happens you can normally feel your tummy tighten. Proper contractions are all over the bump and normally with period like cramping (9 months worth in one go as described by a friend) and sometimes pain in the lower back as well that builds up and then falls away.
As you are such a worry wart probably best to ring your midwife otherwise you will be stressing all day.

I think it sounds fine too and just BHs but I would also ring the midwife. No point worrying and it is best to be safe. Am sure you will be fine though.

You probably get BHs without noticing them but noticed this one because you were thinking about your bump. That bump provides a heck of a lot of cushioning for bubs. I think you are probably ok.

Ditto what the others have said. Once you give birth to Ethan you will realise how tough they are - being born is a rather rough journey!

Yeah just sometimes if you go into labour in can be more in the back, that's what I had cos of him being breech so it didn't feel like the "normal" labour pains but it would come and go not like normal back ache.
I know sometimes spencer would get into positions that were really uncomfortable for me.
You should be fine if it is just uncomfortable, I know that when I had BH they would be uncomfortable if walking about but if I got one when sitting it could actually be quite painful.
