Topic: 2.5kg weight gain in 8 days? Posted: 12 December 2007 at 3:24pm |
Hey ladies..
ive gained 1.7kgs throughout my pregnancy so far..and today i weighed myself and ive put on a wopping 2.5kgs in 8 days.
i weighed myself a bit over a week ago on the same scales i usually weigh myself on.
anyway.. i was pretty pleased with my weight gain so far, all im worried about is the sudden part to it.
anyone had the same thing happen? is this just completely normal? i dont want to ring my midwife, she might think im just obsessed with my weight or something!

COMPLETELY NORMAL! I put on a lot of weight between about 22 and 26 weeks, I would have loved to have only gained 1.7kg up until then! I probably gained that in the first few weeks with the amount I was eating!

It could also be a time of day thing or you may have eaten/drunk more before weighing yourself. Also this heat may not be helping. Wouldnt worry about it tho.

i wouldn't worry about it being over 8 days. If it had been over 1 day then I would be worried.
