I like this thread!

I am not even going to say what we had for dinner tonight. I think in the last 2 weeks we have had takeaways almost every night as no one can be bothered cooking

Some old favourites of ours are.

Wraps with mince and vegies.
Wraps with salad.
Sweet n sour pork with noodles
Shepards pie.
Pasta with a tomato/white sauce.
Pizza on a burito wrap.
Stirfry with cous cous
Beef Stroganhoff
Satay Chicken.
Canneloni

... oh I think I have even given myself ideas.

I think it was page 2 near the end I left a recipe for it, I got it from the tvnz good morning recipes section, we've made it a few times and it's become a favourite!

I've got maggi tomato and herb lamb chops in the slow cooker for dinner tonight - easy peasey chucked in some vege and a tin of tomatoes on this morning and will be waiting for us when we get home.  I love my slow cooker.

I felt totally inspired by the lamb chop crock pot idea. I have whipped some chops out of the freezer. DP is going to be impressed when he gets home to a nice cooked lamb chop dinner with out him having to lift a finger (he usually does all the meat cooking on the bbq - but we ran out of gas) What are some good ideas to have with it? I'm not a bit mash fan. Maybe I should make some roast potatoes, oh I love roastie potatoes.

OH! I haven't made meat loaf for years. Whenever I suggest it DP pulls a face. His mother must have traumatised him. I'm the same after my Mother abused us by forcing us to eat 'Wonder mash' eww I hated that stuff.

Daniel loves my mash. Spud, kumara and corgette with onion salt and butter. No milk. to milk in mash. Yuck yuck yuck and then I fry it in a non stick pan so it has a crispy outer. Yum

I love Carrot and parsnip mash.........im weird with carrots, dont like them just boiled or raw but love them roasted and mashed with parsnip

I actually put a bit of honey and brown sugar on the carrots after they finished roasting tonight.......and the pork was so tender and yummy........

The kids have requested Lasagne tomorrow night, so will make that with salad and dinner rolls
