Need some advice...

My parents are in the process of trying to get custody of their grandchild, my nephew, and because my mum does have a chronic illness, that though did not stop her from bringing up her own 4 children she is worried it will reflect badly on her going for custody.
She has asked me if I will become a foster parent so that I can take custody of my nephew, Lucas, so he can be taken from a unsafe environment.
I of course am totally willing to do this but I don't have children of my own and haven't really had much experience with babies so im going to need all the help I can possibly get.
I need advice on just about everything to do with babies, feeding, sleeping, which nappies to get and anything you can think of.
I don't want to go into this unprepared and find out im in over my head.
I want to make sure I know what I need to to make sure this works out how we all want it to.
Im a 23yo woman living alone, I have a spare bedroom and a safe home environment.

Any advice?
