Lisha yep I have finished work, I finished at 36 weeks, now just waiting waiting waiting! They have estimated a birth weight of between 8lbs 6oz to 9lbs something! MY DH was 10lbs 4oz and didn't fit in a hospital bassinette because he was such a long baby!
Well done on no pain relief with a decent sized baby!!

Wow your DH was a big baby! Here's hoping this time that I might be able to have another natural birth, or maybe some gas.

I had a scan at 36 weeks for positon check and they found I had heaps of fluid too (I thought it was fairly obvious considering I was swelling like a balloon!) At that stage, they estimated baby's size as 7lb 15oz - she was born at 42 weeks weighing 9lb 2oz!!! I was huge near the end too!

I was told Joshie would probably be a 9 or 10lb-er, and he was 8lb 1, so a lot smaller than they "guesstimated". However, he was 56cm long, so that could have thrown the sonographer out a bit.

Lisha, babies don't always get bigger in size either. I had (all full term) 7lb3oz; 8lb4oz and then 8lb exactly.
